road rules / communication breakdown
oh, the sorrow of that comes with the end of summer vacations. my month long (plus the last week of june) vacation is coming to an end. it was really nice, though, to get away from work. besides, i'd been getting bored and getting back to work will put an end to that really quick.

my led zeppelin box set (the 10 disc set) arrived ... it's very nice. i'm in the process of putting together a more portable version as i type this. unlike most people, i did like the original box set (and the follow-up) but i wanted to wait for the complete set to come out before i dropped a bundle of cash. and i had no interest in buying the albums one cd at a time... especially when they were not "digitally remastered" ... whatever that means!

anyhow, it's a good buy. i'm glad i finally got around to doing it.

road rules / week 2 of vacation
the road trip took me to stanford country for one night and back to los angeles for the rest of the week. to be honest, i'm really sick and tired of driving around in a sport utility vehicle... nonetheless, it was very nice to be driving in the 4Runner. hadn't done that in quite some time and i was surprised that it handled the job with nary a complaint. it continues to leak oil ... despite reassurances from my father that the car had been thoroughly serviced... haha.

found my chemical brother and orbital cds that had gone awol. Surrender is a great cd.
